Now Hiring: Tow Truck Operator

Towing vehicles to the shop, ensuring safe and efficient transport.

  • Maintaining accurate records of each towing assignment and vehicle condition for documentation purposes.
  • Inspecting and ensuring the proper functioning of towing equipment and safety mechanisms.
  • Performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on tow trucks and other vehicles in the fleet.
  • Following all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and protect both personal and public property.

Adapting to the changing day-to-day responsibilities, seamlessly transitioning between shop work and towing duties as needed.

  • Assisting with collision repair work when required, contributing to the overall team effort.
  • Helping with mechanical work and collision repairs, if applicable.
  • Detailing vehicles to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Communicating effectively with the team to coordinate towing schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Providing excellent customer service and demonstrating a Culture of Care when interacting with clients.

  • CDL not required, but a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
  • Preferred experience in driving tow trucks, especially in busy city environments like Pittsburgh, PA.
  • Mechanical, collision repair, and auto repair skills are highly preferred.
    • Familiarity with the collision industry and related skills will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet (for those difficult tows).
